AAJA Executive Leadership Program

The Executive Leadership Program's (ELP) Introductory Session is a member exclusive program to help Asian American and Pacific Islander journalists develop their leadership skills to become newsroom leaders and executives.  This four-day program will help you gain clarity on your career goals and arm you with the skills to bring those goals to life.

 If you have five years of professional journalism or journalism industry experience,  we encourage you to submit an application to this year's ELP Introductory Session.

Applications also are being accepted for the Dinah Eng Leadership Fellowship. The fellowships will provide financial aid to mid-career Asian-American journalists (with five years of experience or more) who are seeking to advance their leadership skills as participants in programs like ELP, university-level management programs, and leadership courses at institutions like Poynter,  API and journalism schools that charge tuition for attendance.  These fellowships are not intended to defray costs for Unity or AAJA convention-related attendance.
